The BNE Water Foundation is a registered U.S. based non-profit organization. We are a global movement dedicated to providing impoverished communities in developing countries with access to clean water and sanitation. Our staff, volunteers and supporters around the world consist of many different nationalities, races and religions. However, as a whole we have no religious agenda. We are just good people who want to make the world a better place. Using art, design, fashion, branding and commerce, we are re-inventing charity and making it cool to care. We offer real solutions to a horrible injustice and make getting involved not only really easy, but also very accessible.
We partner with other NGOs already on the ground in different regions and fund sustainable clean water solutions for those in need. This includes fresh water wells, water filters, and rain catchments. To improve sanitary conditions we build latrines, hand washing stations, and provide basic hygiene and sanitation training. We work very close with our partners and ensure that 100% of donations from BNE supporters fund actual project costs only and never salaries or other expenses.
Through our gallery and global network of friends, we are uniting the worldwide art community in our fight. Generous artists from all over the world are helping us raise funds and awareness by donating works of art and by getting other artists involved. We also raise money through selling BNE products. The products themselves spread the word about our work, the global water crisis and also serve the purpose of re-distributing wealth. Meaning, when you buy a BNE product, your money goes to the poor instead of the extremely rich. We call this "Activism Through Commerce." Like every other NPO, we of course raise funds by accepting donations from our supporters around the world. Unlike most charities, we will prove where every penny goes using photos, video and GPS tracking.
Providing the very basic element that all life needs to survive should not be such a widespread problem. One person cannot change the world. When enough people change themselves, the world will have changed already.
Join us and be part of the solution.
